A conversation that hasn’t happened in 2,000 years
The Teacher and the Preacher is a radio program and podcast where an Israeli Bible scholar, a Christian pastor and their guests talk honestly about the Scriptures they share and the places they differ.
Aaron Lipkin,
The Teacher
Aaron Lipkin, the teacher, is an Israeli Bible scholar and archaeologist who works in biblical archaeology across Israel. He is part of the Manasseh Hill Country Survey team and was involved in the discovery of the Mount Ebal inscription. Aaron is active in dialogue between Jews and Christians and serves as a liaison between pastors and rabbis. He is married to Esther and is the father of five children.
Dave McGarrah,
The Preacher
Dave McGarrah, the preacher, is a longtime pastor and the founder of Master Minded Ministries. He has spent decades in ministry as a pastor and teacher, and has traveled to Israel more than 50 times, introducing hundreds of people to the lands of the Bible.
Dave and his wife, Jerri, founded Master Minded Ministries in 2008 to help Christians understand the Jewish roots of their faith and stand in covenant love with Israel and the Jewish people. Each year, our listeners’ generous donations to Master Minded Ministries keep The Teacher and the Preacher on the air.
